Honeymoon, Day 4 - Rhodes

We sailed in at 1:00, so we could see the ship approach Rhodes

Rhodes is a walled city! Very cool

The Old Town is surrounded by walls - 40 feet thick in some parts!

Archeological Museum, which used to be the Hospital of the Knights

It's a cool-looking building with artifacts resting everywhere

The Knights built the walls in the 1400s; this was their hospital

The inns of each nation were here, and they housed the Knights

Was accidentally destroyed in 1856 and rebuilt in 1930 for Mussolini

This is a really cool (but sad) bombed-out church; never rebuilt
